Key tasks:

• Recommending policies for researches based on strategies and plans of the Ministry of Agriculture-Jahad in cooperation with the affiliated Research Institutes and Centers
• Prioritizing research plans to meet current challenges and needs in cooperation with the affiliated research institutes and centers
• Providing an enabling environment for the scientific promotion of researchers
• Monitoring and Supervising policy fulfillment in research projects at the affiliated Research Institutes and Centers
• Taking measures to carry out research projects with considering current challenges and needs
• Codification of rules, instructions, and bylaws for research projects
• Monitoring and planning schemes for developing research projects to promote sustainable development agriculture
• Taking approaches to meet educational needs for researchers and conducting training courses in agreement with Deputy of Education and Extension
• Assessing research results on the outcomes of beneficiaries at different levels
• Taking measures and policies on the procedure of commercializing the technical knowledge achieved by affiliated Research Institutes and Centers
• To manage the approval and monitoring of the implementation of socio-economic and extensional research projects in Research Institutes and Centers
• To supervise the Research Deputies of Research Institutes/Centers
• To prioritize the implementation of Research Projects
